I’ve Switched On Paid (Quick Note)
Why I’m going deeper and doing less, better
Hi Geo-arbitrageurs (oh aren’t we posh!)
I’ve switched on paid subscriptions here.
Up until now, everything I’ve written has been free. Over the past couple of years I’ve published close to 70 posts, and I’ve been happy to do that.
I’ve turned paid on not because I want to post more, but because I want to do less things better.
Going into 2026, I’m deliberately trying to spend less time doing a ton of different things and more time doing a smaller number of things properly. The kind of work that actually moves the needle.
Writing is one of those things.
What I want to use this space for is deeper, more considered writing. The sort that comes from being on the ground, making real decisions, and living this in practice, not just talking theory.
For paid members, that means:
Ground level perspectives on different Geo-FIRE locations
How places actually feel to live in day to day, beyond the spreadsheets
Travel and lifestyle decisions that quietly speed things up or slow them down
Investment and income thinking that helps you make better calls and act sooner
The aim isn’t more information. It’s better thinking applied earlier. That’s what shortens the timeline and helps you retire faster, on your own terms.
Paid access is straightforward.
Paid subscribers get full access to the archive and the deeper breakdowns I publish from time to time. That’s it.
This isn’t coaching.
It’s not a course.
There are no signals, alerts, or step by step hand holding.
It’s just my thinking, written clearly, in one place.
Nothing changes for free subscribers. I’ll still post here as I always have. Paid just unlocks the deeper layer for people who want it.
No pressure either way. If it’s useful for where you’re at, you’re welcome to join. If not, all good. Appreciate you being here.
Cheers team
Andy
